The solo Si | Si amplifies the struggle of restraining inner turmoil in order to uphold appearances: the maddening gap between our inner and outer realities - a quest for true identity.
 
Like a seagull flying over the North Sea — this is how the Empress Elisabeth of Austria yearned to feel.  Suffocated by the expectations laid upon her, she strove to find freedom, abandoning her life at court by embarking on long voyages.
​The solo Si | Si is inspired by her writings, which describe the struggle of restraining inner turmoil in order to uphold appearances.
